Backups of existing projects

If you are installing GeoAgro GIS in a computer where you already have projects, and you choose the options 'Advanced Installation' and 'Program Data', GeoAgro GIS will make a backup copy of all the existing projects.

Then, when the program starts and detects that there are pre-existing project backup copies, a wizard will guide you through the process of restoring the projects and will make the existing structures compatibles to the ones that the program has by default.

Restoring of existing projects

1. Backup date: Date in which the project was backed up.
2. Projects: Name of the project/s.
3. New name: Name which will be assigned to the project after it is restored.
4. Restore: By checking this option, the project will be restored and available in the new installed version.
5. Eliminate: The project will be permanently deleted.

If you click on Accept it will proceed with restoring the project and making the structures compatible.

Note:

Si opta por decidir luego el programa le indicará que la proxima vez que lo ejecute, el asistente se iniciara nuevamente, situación que se repetirá hasta que restaure los mismos.
