It allows to export the objects from any of the three layers in the GPS Module (Waypoint, Track or Route), to a layer in the GIS Module, before transferring the GPS data to the GIS Module.

1. Select the layer in the GPS Module (Source) that has the objects that you want to export to the GIS Module (Destination).

2. Click on the “Export to GIS Module” icon. If there are selected objects, GeoAgro GIS will ask you if you would like to export only the selection or all the objects on the layer. Choose the most convenient option and click on "Accept".

3. A window will pop up, containing all the vector layers in the GIS Module. Select the target layer by checking the box on the left. You can also create a new layer by clicking on the icon Image:GIS_gps_Tool_08_03.jpg located at the bottom.

Warning Warning: Notice that the target layer needs to be compatible with the objects that you want to export: you can only export Waypoints to layers with "point" objects, similarly you can only transfer Tracks and Routes to layers with "lines" and "polygons". If you need to export Waypoints to a "polygon" layer, you first need to convert those points into a polygon using the Convert points into a Polygon tool.

4. In the following window, you can match the source attributes with the destination ones. If you assigned names to the waypoints, tracks or routes of the GPS, this process will allow you to keep those attributes as one of the attributes of the target layer structure.

To match the data, drag the folder "Identifier" (location on the navigator structure where the names are kept) to the folder of the structure of the target layer.

5. Once this is done, click on “Accept" and the objects will be exported.
