You can create a variety of maps for reporting, and include them in the CNMP report. We will just review a couple of cases as examples.

Exercise 01 - Create a Soil map and report
Start GeoAgro GIS by double clicking on its icon at your desktop;
You may also run it by using the Windows®
Start menu.
The Project Selection window will pop up. Select the 'Sample FMP' project that you restored in the initial project setup
- Turn on the 'soils_clipped' layer by clicking on the eye icon on the References Panel, on the left side of the screen.

- We'll label it with attribute “MUSYM”: Click on the Layer Symbology tool in the layer panel on the right side.

- Click on the Symbology tab, then go to the labeling tab, and check “MUSYM” as attribute. Click on 'Font options' and select a font size of 7, black letters on white back ground.

- The Map is now labeled with MUSYM (Map Unit Symbols).

- You can create a printout with the print tool. Go to the Print tool icon
on the Navigation Toolbar at the top. The map layout preview appears. On the map layout, you can setup your title, move the north arrow, select references, save to a file or send to the printer, and other options.
You can create a table by exporting to a MS Excel spreadsheet.
- Click on the “Soils_clipped” layer in the References Panel to make it active.

- Select soil map units by using the Select by rectangle
tool from the Navigation Toolbar, and drawing a window to include them.
- Click on the Information tool icon.
. When you click on each record, the corresponding soil polygon is highlighted.
- Once the information table is shown, click on Export, save it to your local disk, and the excel spreadsheet will be created.
Exercise 02 - Create a map with Management Units
- Click on the 'Mgmt Units_Sample' layer to make it active

- Select the Edit layer properties tool.

- The Layer Properties screen appears. Click on the Symbology tab, then on the Label group, and then select the “NAME” attribute.

- Click on 'more options' to position labels in the Middle Center:
