How to insert a Video Presentation in an article
A video presentation may be used for a variety of purposes, such as a demonstration of how a software tool works, a field visit, or a webinar broadcasted to a large audience; in any case you can insert it in an article in Wikiagro following the guidelines below.
To insert a Video Presentarion in WikiAgro, it is required for the video either to be in the flv (Flash Video) format, or to be hosted in an online video service such as YouTube®
Inserting a Video Presentation in an article
There are two ways you may use to insert a video presentation in an article; either uploading it directly to our servers, or to upload it to a third party video hosting service such as YouTube®, Vimeo®.
In case you are working with GeoAgro. you may use a username and password provided by GeoAgro to upload videos to Youtube. If so, please contact GeoAgro at [mailto: [email protected] [email protected]] for assistance.
If you are not working with GeoAgro, you may access the Youtube website and set up your own free account.
Where 'id'is the code in the youtube video page URL; it can be found after the string 'watch?v='
For videos longer than 10 minutes, you won't be able to use Youtube. If you are part of the GeoAgro Team, we suggest you to use our account in Vimeo, another video hosting service that will allow to upload such videos. If you are not part of the team, you may access the Vimeo website and set up your own free account.

Upload to Wikiagro
You need to upload the video in .flv format, using the Special:Upload MediaWiki tool

Now position the cursor where you intend to insert the video, and add the code below
