Installing GeoAgro GIS is quick and simple, an installation wizard will guide you in the process step-by-step.

Download

To install the software you must download it from GeoAgro GIS 2.3.44 Save the file Install_GeoAgro_GIS.exe to a folder in your PC and remember its location.

Note:

• If you were unable to install GeoAgro GIS with the previous link, please download the installer file from GeoAgro 2.3.44 mirror.
• To download the program including all the required components download it from GeoAgro GIS 2.3.44 Complete.

Installation

Execute the downloaded file, the installation process will begin.
First you need to select the language for the program.

Then, the following window will pop up, select Next to continue.

Next, you need to accept the product license agreement for GeoAgro GIS by clicking on I Agree.

On the next window you'll have to choose the type of installation: Typical or Advanced.

Typical installation

Having selected the typical installation procedure, the system begins with it and no further intervention is required.

The following window will show the installation progress bar.

When the installation process ends, the program asks if you would like to run it after this process.

Note:

When the program is executed for the first time, a wizard will guide you through the Activation process. Please have your user and password information ready.

Advanced installation

If you choose to run an advanced installation, the wizard will ask you to choose from several options.

Components

• Application - Program Files: Installs the executable file (.exe) and the libraries that the program needs to work (Required).
  
• Application - Projections: Copies or updates the projection files.
  
• Program Data: Copies the ESRI© Shapefile files that have the GIS data processed by GeoAgro.
• .NET Framework: Installs Microsoft© .NET Framework v2.0.

Warning:

If you have personalized data structures, or new structures created for your own operations, you must select the Program Data option. This way, the installation wizard will make an automatic backup of the previously installed structures.

 

Installation Folder

Choose the folder where GeoAgro GIS will be installed and then click on “Next”.

Data Folder

If you choose to install Program data you'll have to select the folder where the GeoAgro GIS data will be stored and press Install.

If the installation program detects an earlier version of data or projects, a message will inform you that a backup copy will be created.

End of Installation

When the installation process ends, please click on Finish. The program asks if you would like to run it after this process.

Run the Program

The GeoAgro GIS shortcut will appear on your desktop. Double-click it to run the program.
