Getting started with Cplanner

This exercise is included in the tutorial: Getting started with Cplanner, GeoAgro for CNMP Development

In this exercise you will learn how to exchange documents with the NRCS using the Document Xchange tool.

1. Open GeoAgro CPlanner, and login with GeoAgro Training credentials as detailed in this exercise: Log in to Cplanner using USDA e-authentication

2. Search for Folders in Hardin County, IA, and check out one of the 10 training folders included in that County.

3. On the right panel, click on the checked out folder to select it and then click on “Open folder” button to open it. GeoAgro CPlanner will open the Customer folder window.

4. To access Document Xchange, click on “Document Xchange” button.

5. Wait for the folder structure to be created; once it's ready, you should see a window like the one below:

6. You will be able to upload files to any of the folders listed in the tree. Click on “Plan_Reports” folder to open it. Click on “Upload” button to upload your exported plan data.

7. A window will pop up asking you for the file you want to upload. Browse to the shapefiles and select them along with your Plan Document, then click on “Open” button to upload and wait for the upload to complete. (These are just sample files, you may use any file on your local disk).
