Troubleshooting libraries problems while installing or activating license

GeoAgro GIS uses three libraries from Microsoft, these must be installed on your computer. If needed, you may download them from here:

• Windows Installers
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
• Micorsoft WSE 3.0

Installing the libraries

If you need to install any of these libraries on your computer please follow the following steps.

Windows Installers

After downloading the installer, double-click on it to install it.

1. Follow the instructions.
   

Note:

For Windows Vista/Seven users If when installing WindowsInstaller you see this message "Not enough storage is available to process this command.": while this message appears to mean that there is not enough available room on your hard drive, actually the problem is probably because you are using Windows Vista and you already have this library installed as part of your Windows Vista operating system. Therefore you may disregard this message and continue.

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 After downloading the installer, double-click on it to start it.

1. Click on the Next button to continue.
2. Click on the checkbox I accept the terms of the License Agreement and then click on the Install button.
3. After the installation is done click on the Finish button.

Note:

For Windows Vista/Seven users If after installing dotnetfx 2.0.exe a message appears saying the “The product is already part of the operating system” you may cancel and skip this step.

Microsoft WSE 3.0

After downloading the installer, double-click on it to start it.

1. Click on the Next button to continue.
2. Click on the checkbox I accept the terms of the License Agreement and then click on the Next button.
3. Click on the Install button.
4. Click on the Finish button.

Reinstallation of Libraries

If any of these libraries is already installed but is not working correctly please follow the following steps.

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

1. After downloading the installer, double-click on it to start it.
2. Select the Repair option and then click on the Next button.
3. Click on the Finish button.

Microsoft WSE 3.0

1. After downloading the installer, double-click on it to start it.
2. Click on the Next button.
3. Select Repair and then click on the Next button to start the installation.
4. Click on the Install button.
5. Click on the Finish button.
