{{#customtitle:Adding geospatial data|Adding geospatial data}} The newly created project is empty. There are two ways of adding data to the system.

We propose you the easiest way: download the maps from the GeoAgro Services server.
Our team has prepared a series of layers to be used in the tutorials, and you'll download them through the GIS Download Module.

Download data using the Services Tab

Activate the Download and then the My Services tab.

Then click on [GIS_con_Bar_22-01.png]Connect and login to the Services Repository with the login information provided below, by pressing Ok.

After the, a message will arise showing the progress of the operation (it shouldn't take more than a few seconds :))

To go back to the GIS Module just press on the appropiate tab. The downloaded layers will be listed on the Reference Panel.

Download data using a backup copy

If your internet connection is not stable you can opt for the restoration of a project's backup copy.
Please follow this link to download the file. Save that file on your computer and remember the location of it.

At the GIS Module, select the Image:GIS_gis_Edit_09_01.jpg Backup Tool and click on Restore Backup
