Productivity maps are derived from crop production history and remote sensing, and are a practical method to determine variability to make site specific management decisions. Visit this article: Productivity Maps Overview to learn more.

To request this service, you would follow these steps:

1. Go to www.geoagro.com, and click on 'Farm Services Center' as shown in the figure below:

2. Click on 'Add Service', and then Click on the Productivity Map button.

2. Go to the Farm list and choose the farm containing the field which you want to use for the service request. Click on the CONTINUE button to go on.

3. Then, you would enter:

  • The estimated area to process (A). This area is a general estimation to validate that there are no major differences with the selected fields.
  • Define how many classes will have the resulting productivity map (B).
  • Select the field or fields to process (C).
  • If you wish, you may include comments related with the request (D).

Finally, Click on NEXT STEP

Note Note: In the next 2 steps, you can upload information regarding the crop history. This is very important to analyze variability, as detailed in this article: Why is crop history important to analyze variability.



4. In this step, you can upload crop history by entering it in a form in the following way:

  • Select the Field (A).
  • Enter the Crop Season (B).
  • Select the crop (C).
  • Enter the estimated Seeding Date (D).
  • Enter the estimated Harvest Date (E).
  • Specify if there was an extraordinary event, such as hail, drought, flood, field tests that ocurred in the selected field(s) during the crop season you're entering (F).
  • Click on 'Add these data to the crop history'(G).

Once you've finished entering data, you would click on NEXT STEP. Also, if you do not have crop history available, or would like to upload a file with the crop history, you would click on NEXT STEP.
